Mrs. Rotruck - Award Winning Principal
Congratulations to Candace Rotruck on winning 2014 Elementary Principal of the Year from the Virginia School Counselor Association! This is the first time the VSCA has given this award, and Ms. Rotruck was chosen out of a pool of statewide nominees.

Ms. Rotruck was nominated because she supports the national standards for school counseling, is a champion for the counseling program and profession, and most of all, because she cares so much about students' socio-emotional growth. This is evidenced by her annual encouragement of student community service learning.
